If you're looking to get out of the house to have some fun, then there are many places that offer half price tickets to save you some money.  You should NEVER pay full price on event tickets if you can get a discount ticket.  Always, and I will repeat this, because it's that important, always check to see if you can get a discount ticket for an event before you purchase a full-priced ticket.  The majority of the time, you will find that a discount ticket is available.  The only time that a discount ticket is not available, is if this is a Mega Popular event! Those are the types of events that sell out within hours or even minutes of when the tickets go on sale... otherwise, you can bet your bottom dollar that you can get half price or discount tickets!  And I'll be honest with you... I never purchase the tickets that sell out within minutes, anymore.  They're just too expensive.  I did camp out overnight once in an attempt to get great seats for a Prince (the purple one - himself) concert, and I still wound up in the nose-bleed section! Even with binoculars, I had a hard time seeing him (lol).  Those tickets sold out in minutes.  So, I never did that again!  (Prince, if you're reading this, you owe me front row seats.)  Now, I purchase discount and half-price tickets and at my last concert I saw DMX and Doug e Fresh and I was just below the stage.  So close that DMX could have almost dripped sweat on me!  So glad he didn't!  So check out the bargain tickets in your area!
